Intersect provided comprehensive project management services for this dynamic facility expansion. Initially tasked with overseeing a core and shell renovation and spec suite buildout, the project scope shifted midway to accommodate the growing needs of Fate Therapeutics.

Despite the change in direction, the 20,000 SF space was designed and permitted twice with minimal disruption to the overall schedule. Delivered via a turnkey approach, the facility was transformed into a cutting-edge space, complete with biology labs, tissue culture areas, validated clean labs (ISO 7 & 8), and high-end conference rooms. Collaborative spaces, both indoors and extending to outdoor areas, and open office environments were integrated to promote innovation and productivity.
