Singular Genomics

This project features approximately 75,000 SQFT of sophisticated tenant improvements, transforming a warm shell, two-story building with a basement into a cutting-edge Research & Development lab and office space. The comprehensive reskin and gut renovation revitalized the structure, bringing new life to both the interior and exterior.

With multiple stories and a strategically designed garage parking structure, the space is engineered to accommodate both functionality and innovation. Every detail of this transformation was carefully curated to create an environment where research and development thrive while providing a modern, efficient workspace for the future of scientific discovery.

This two-story office and lab facility, complete with underground parking, is leased by Singular Genomics and designed to be a hub of cutting-edge science. The project’s scope involved a complete transformation, starting with the demolition of the building envelope and the installation of a sleek new curtain wall. A striking connecting stairway was introduced, along with a full tenant improvement that brought the vision of this space to life.

Working in close collaboration with DGA and DPR, Intersect was instrumental in weaving Singular Genomics’ brand and storytelling into every aspect of the design. From the modern office, lab spaces, and amenities to the art coordination, brand graphics, and FF&E selection, every detail was thoughtfully curated. This space doesn’t just serve as a lab; it celebrates the innovative science happening within its walls, providing a dynamic environment that embodies the future of genomic research.
