Jack in the Box, Inc. Corporate Headquarters
PROJECT DETAILS
This 40-year-old, 150,000 SF corporate headquarters was in desperate need of a complete transformation to stay competitive in retaining and attracting top talent. To meet growing headcount demands, an office reorganization and expansion were essential for improving adjacency and density efficiencies.
The project began with the immediate abatement of asbestos-containing materials, allowing construction activities to move forward swiftly. ADA compliance was a key component of the work, ensuring updates to the building’s entry and restrooms. A new second-floor mezzanine was also constructed to provide additional office space.
A significant part of the tenant improvement included a complete overhaul of the company’s data center, modernizing it to support operations nationwide. The data center upgrade featured a cold-aisle solution, new CRAC units, and redundant electrical infrastructure, along with an advanced FM200 fire suppression system equipped with early smoke detection.
To further enhance the employee experience, a new on-site restaurant was built, designed to replicate a modern Jack in the Box, offering a unique and convenient amenity within the headquarters.
