Charles River Laboratories- Torrey View

CRADL Torrey View is a 9,300 square foot tenant improvement project that is in the Building B ground up on the new Breakthrough Properties campus “Torrey View” in San Diego

This will be Intersect’s first project utilizing the full specifications of Charles River Laboratories after the acquisition of Explora in early 2022. This project has served as an opportunity for the Intersect Team to effectively contribute in early design initiatives; from space planning, complex details, and providing recommendations that drive efficiencies and reduced cost.

This facility will have plenty of space for the surrounding life science companies in the San Diego area. There will be a total of 17 holding rooms, 10 procedure rooms, 3 lab support rooms that include a dedicated VHP room, necropsy suite, and glass wash & autoclave room.

As CRL’s first site with Breakthrough Properties, DPR Construction is the General Contractor and McFarlane & Associates is the Architect.
