This 150,000 SF tenant improvement marked the relocation of Celgene’s regional headquarters to a modern, right-sized facility. At the time, it was the largest life science project in San Diego, driven by economic conditions and the need for a cutting-edge workspace.

With leadership based at Celgene’s corporate headquarters in New Jersey, project management required exceptional coordination between local user groups and corporate leadership, ensuring seamless communication for key decisions and maintaining strict oversight of budget and schedule.

The facility boasts a stunning 2-story thru-lobby, state-of-the-art office spaces, advanced biology and chemistry labs, a large vivarium, and a robust data center. This project was also awarded LEED Gold certification, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and environmental excellence.
