PROJECT DETAILS
The first-ever 19-acre Life Science campus in the Thousand Oaks community set a new standard for innovation and lifestyle integration. The campus features four state-of-the-art buildings (three lab buildings and one dedicated amenity building) spanning an impressive 330,000 SQ FT.
The amenity building caters to a balanced work-life experience, offering a restaurant, space for multiple sports activities, as well as showers and locker rooms. At the heart of the campus, an arboretum with serene trails, casual seating, and outdoor spaces creates a tranquil setting for relaxation and collaboration. An amphitheater serves as an eye-catching venue for special events, providing an inviting draw for both work-related gatherings and community functions.
The development involved the complete redevelopment and demolition of existing structures and integration of a variety of high-demand features, including data centers, cold storage, and cleanrooms, while adhering to HIPAA compliance and cGMP standards. Security, ADA upgrades, and critical infrastructure ensure the campus is safe, accessible, and highly functional. The project included a comprehensive scope from core and shell work to MEP systems, interior design, asbestos abatement, FF&E coordination, and eye-catching building signage, creating a landmark campus that blends cutting-edge laboratory facilities with lifestyle amenities for an unparalleled work environment.
