Charles River Laboratories: Eastlake

PROJECT DETAILS
CRADL Eastlake is a new tenant improvement supporting the Seattle life science community and in vivo research. The 13,222 Sq. Ft. vivarium is located within Alexandria’s newest 11-story, ground-up life science tower in the heart of the Lake Union district.
Designed to accommodate multiple life science tenants, the space includes 10 procedure rooms and 14 holding rooms, providing flexibility for a wide range of research programs. Five dedicated lab support rooms serve as critical amenity spaces for scientific operations, including quarantine, IVIS and imaging, and tissue culture functions.
The suite also features a thoughtfully designed breakroom with 9-foot wood ceilings, integrated workstations, and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in abundant natural light, creating a comfortable environment for staff. Partnering with architect AEDAS and general contractor DPR Construction, Intersect delivered a highly functional and well-executed facility within a premier Seattle campus.
