From Designing their previous office in UTC when they were Jecure Therapeutics, to Design Managing their new home in Torrey Pines, 858 Therapeutics who was founded in 2019 has been a great and fun client to work with. 858 is a biotechnology and drug discovery company founded by a team of veteran drug discovery scientists. In 2021 858 Therapeutics received $60 million financing to be used in developing their small molecules which act on therapeutic targets in oncology, including proteins that regulate RNA and the innate immune response.
When you walk into their new headquarters located at Alexandria’s Spectrum 3, you will be welcomed by a large topography graphic with key marks that represent past local locations of the company’s founders and honors the 858 company name, which happens to be the San Diego area code of the third-largest biotech hub in the U.S. Their HQ office is a total of 20,087 sqft with an open office floor plate, open lab with support rooms and a break room that connects directly to the outdoors. Being in this building, they will be able to enjoy Alexandria’s building amenities which includes shared conference rooms, locker rooms with bike and surfboard storage, and an outdoor space planned for lounging and food trucks to be scheduled for building users to enjoy.
