Charles River Laboratories: Eastlake
PROJECT DETAILS
CRADL Eastlake is a 17,367 square foot tenant improvement in a new ground up facility that will be supporting the Seattle life science community and in vivo studies.
This 13,222 SQ FT facility is in Alexandria’s newest 11-story high rise life science building in the heart of Seattle’s Lake Union area. This vivarium space will be able to accommodate various life science tenants in any number of its 10 procedure rooms and 14 holding rooms. Within the space, there are a total of 5 lab support rooms which will serve as amenity spaces for scientific operations necessary to support tenant research.
These rooms will allow for the tenants to complete various procedures critical to their science. These rooms include quarantine, IVIS/Imaging, and tissue culture functions. The suite also features a beautifully designed breakroom, featuring 9-wood ceilings, workstations, and floor to ceiling windows bringing natural light into the space. The architect was AEDAS and the general contractor was DPR Construction.
